Hey loyal friends and fans,

A couple of weeks ago, the remaining members of your Undead Board of Directors met to discuss a very important topic: the future of Undead Roller Derby. After three years of a global pandemic and 5 months of treading water (almost literally) with no practice space, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to make the 2023 season our last.

We’ve shared so many great moments with all of you throughout our 13 years of existence and we’ll miss you dearly! We are truly thankful for all of the support we’ve received at each and every one of our events.

The good news is: we have two bouts left this season, including a HOME BOUT that is right around the corner on June 3 at Paradise Skate Roller Rink. Please join us for a last hurrah as we take on Bay Area Derby in a Saturday afternoon double-header! (Buy tickets here!)

While we recognize that this decision may be a bummer for folks to process, there is a bright side within this loss: we still have many great roller derby leagues in the greater Bay Area. We implore anyone still interested in joining or volunteering with your local league to reach out and we’ll point you in the right direction!

Thank You so Much,

Undead Roller Derby

Undead Roller Derby was established to provide a fun sport that promotes empowerment and fitness for our members. We strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where our members of all genders, abilities, and experience are encouraged to work together and respect one another.

We are a flat-track roller derby team that focuses on providing entertainment to our fans as well as fitness, fun and confidence building for our league members.

As a volunteer based organization, we appreciate our community for all the love and support over the years. We know there is hard work and innovation within our grassroots.
